Golden temple is the highest shrine and place of worship for the Sikhs.

The objective is to provide the state of the art security system for the devotees. Security Surveillance becomes one of the most important aspect as every day over 150,000 people visit this shrine and during weekends and other important festivals almost 300,000 to 400,000 people visit the shrine campus. The security Surveillance almost covers 2 sq miles area equipped with more than 200 cameras with different distances from the Main Control room.

The best aspect of this system is reliability, covering a security surveillance for almost every place with a Centralized Power and Backup from a single Control Room. The systems Infrastructure is well designed to avoid any possible external signal interference and achieve the best signal strength. Designed to achieve better face recognition and face identification of the suspect during surveillance.

A Custom designed centralized power backup governs the entire system which is tamper proof. The system is capable of recording color video for 20 minutes in case of power outage. It is fully equipped with High Definition cameras and the recordings are also done in High Definition (HD) for better perception of video images to achieve better face recognition and face identification of the suspect. From all the cameras the video footage recording storage capacity of the system is maintained for 1 week on the NVR and then automatically backed up onto the Server where it is stored for one month. The system is Maintenance Free due to its unique design as everything i.e power, control and backup are all centralized.
